Aloo Sabzi Recipe With Step By Step Pictures

Aloo Katla is made from green spices and tomato. It can be prepared with less effort and time, in just 10 Minutes, you can make this Katla for your hubby and kids for their lunch box and is goes well with rice or chapatti. Follow my easy recipe with step by step pictures.

Ingredients Quantity
Potato 5 medium size
Green chilli 8 no’s
Garlic 5 cloves
Coriander leaves small bunch
Fenugreek seeds/ Methi dana 1/4 teaspoon
Tomato 1
Oil 2 large teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
Salt as  needed

Method:

1. Peel off the skin of potato and dice it like this as shown below in the picture. Heat the oil in a pressure cooker, and temper with fenugreek seeds.2. Add diced potato into the cooker and fry it for about 2-3 minutes, then add turmeric powder and salt.3. Blend  garlic, chilli and coriander leave together to make a fine paste.4. Add the ground paste and chopped tomato into the cooker and mix it well.5. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on medium heat, then add  a cup of water and close the cooker. Cook for about 2-3 whistle. Let it cool for about 10 Minutes, open cooker and garnish with coriander leaves. Aloo Katla is ready, serve hot with rice or chapatti.6. Enjoy!
