Gobi Paratha Recipe | Cauliflower In Wheat Flour

When you are concerned about gaining weight from eating Aloo Paratha, you can save yourself from guilt by trying Gobi Paratha. Though it still contains oil but replacing Potato with Cauliflower can save some calories as well as give a different flavour of food.

Cooking Time: 5 Minutes

Ingredients Quantity
Gobi / Cauliflower(grated) 1
Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt as needed
Refined Oil for shallow fry
Wheat flour 3 cup

Method:

1. Grate cauliflower and heat the pan with little oil and fry the grate cauliflower for 5 minutes.

2. Now add red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt. Mix well and keep it aside. Sieve wheat flour, add salt & add water little at a time. Knead into medium soft dough.

Divide the dough into balls of equal portions & roll one ball at a time in the form of a small puri as shown below in picture. Put 2tsp of the filling mixture in the centre of the flatted dough, close it from all sides. Close it well to make sure the mixture doesn’t come out.

3. Roll it gently the size of chapatti as shown below in picture. Now heat the tawa and put paratha on it. Cook on medium heat and apply some oil each side. Cook o medium heat until paratha are golden brown from both sides. Serve hot with pickle and chutney.
