Kidney Bean Square (Kids Snacks Recipe)

Here is our yet another attempt at making something special out of easily accessible ingredients in a kitchen.

These kidney bean squares are simple toppings done on a biscuit to make it a delicious item to serve in front of guests. Plus it takes just a few minutes to prepare. So, the next time you are out of ideas, of what to serve to your guests, you can try this.

Or, if you have got kids and they are quite choosy about what to eat, these might work for them as well, as it will be a good idea to make them have some amount of kidney beans which is high in proteins.

Below is the step by step instructions for preparing these tasty kidney bean toppings.

Preparation Time:  5 Minutes

Cooking Time: 1 Minutes

Ingredients Quantity
Cracker biscuits 10
Boiled Rajma/kidney beans 1/2 cup
Grated cheese 1/2 cup
Green chilly (deseeded ) 1
Oregano herbs 1/4 teaspoon
Salt to taste
Roasted peanuts for garnish
Tomato sauce 2 teaspoon
Fresh cream 3 tablespoon
Hung curd 1/4 cup
Lemon juice 1/2 teaspoon
Black pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon
Red chilly powder 1/8 teaspoon
Fruit Jam 2 teaspoon

Method:

1. Combine boiled rajma, grated cheese, tomato sauce, salt, red chilli powder and chopped green chilly in a bowl and mix it well.

2. Spread 1 tbsp filling on each biscuit in a heap and leaving the sides of the corner clean. Keep all the biscuits in a microwave proof plate and microwave at 50 % power for 2 minutes. Now prepare sour cream for topping the crackers biscuits. (Beat curd till smooth, mix lemon juice, cream, salt and pepper powder) Keep the topping in fridge till serving. Put 1 teaspoon chilled curd-cream topping on the centre of  each cracker biscuits and garnish with roasted peanut and fruit jam.
