Onion Bhindi Recipe

I simply love the food which is easy to make and this dish is one of them. When  you simply want your lunch ready in 20 minutes, this Onion Bhindi is the dish to pick. The Onion Bhindi doesn’t require a lot of ingredients to cook. All you need is some Green Chillies and Salt, put everything in a Kadhai and fry for a few minutes. It is literally one of the shortest recipes.

You will love this Onion Bhindi with Roti. This also makes a good Lunchbox item.

Ingredients Quantity
Ladyfinger 1/2 kg
Onion 1
Green chilli 7
Salt to taste

Method:

1. Clean and wash the bhindi and pat dry with a towel. Cut it into small pieces as shown below in the picture. Heat the kadhai or wok with oil and fry onion until light golden brown in colour.

2. Add bhindi along with chopped green chilli and mix it well. Cook covered on slow heat for about 6-7 minutes.

3. Then add some salt and cook covered for another 4-5 minutes on slow heat. Bhindi is ready, serve hot with chapatti.
